The Carbon Coalition is a non-partisan coalition of citizens, scientists, communities and organizations that advocates for a national energy policy to protect us from global warming caused by carbon pollution. The Coalition's successful Town Meeting Campaign won support from 164 New Hampshire towns, including Dunbarton, for a resolution calling on the President and Congress to take action on global warming. The Dunbarton Energy Committee was one result of that resolution.

The New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning (OEP) is part of the Executive Department within the Office of the Governor. It undertakes a number of programs and activities to promote smart growth and energy efficiency, ensure the reliability of the state's energy supply, offer community services such as heating fuel aid and expand the use of renewable energy resources. OEP's website features a comprehensive Resource Library containing maps, planning information, energy information and information about more than $58 million available for energy projects from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
The New England Grassroots Environment Fund (NEGEF) issues small grants to support local initiatives that create and maintain healthy, just, safe and environmentally sustainable communities. NEGEF funding made this website possible.
